Front Air Suspension

Front Air Suspension
Gents,
I have a problem with my 2004 A8.. Recently after leaving the car sleeping for the night I come back to find both my front shocks have deflated. I start the car and they pump back up to normal position.
My questions are, is there something electrical that can make the shocks deflate, as both fronts have done it. I have scanned for codes but nothing. Also it takes a while for it to deflate. I mean 10 hours +, Is the compessor supposed to top up the shocks as they lose some air?
Could it really be that I blew both front shocks at the same time?
Thanks in Advance

The vehicle will auto-level after locking - that's the "hiss" you hear.
Otherwise no, it should not deflate and settle overnight.
The compressor will not run when the engine is off.
When you say codes, you mean scanned with VCDS (formerly VAG-COM) ?
My thought is that it is a slow leak from an air line.
Could be both shocks are blown - unlikely but I've seen stranger things over the years
Over time you will likely see DTC's with VCDS like compressor overheat.
Then at some point the relay could get fused.
Hopefully it's just a minor leak in a line that you can find with soapy water and a good ear in a quiet place.

Thanks for the reply,
My question is, are there individual air lines leading from the compressor to the shocks? or are the front shocks interconnected so that if there was a leak, it would lead to both fronts sleeping.
