Default Bought the DVD

I finally bought the DVD online for about $100 + Shipping. It is only for PC (NO MAC!) and compatible only with old XP Program/software. The company that makes the software has a very lausy costomer service, no use calling them! I had real hard times to install the DVD on my PC. Needed to modify the whole Anti Virus protection program for it. If you can afford spending extra 3-4 hours infront of the PC + the agrevation and the money you paid initially, it is worth it.
I finally replaced my tail light!! HIP HIP..HURAY
Fianl Verdict: Big Minus for the Company that makes the soft ware!!!

Yep, it would be nice if they updated it to run on modern OSes.
At least it doesn't use a "dongle" - oh the horrors of dealership software.

You don't want to know the nightmare I go through to use it because it's not Mac friendly

If you bought the Bentley manual, as recommended, their service is best with the web chat option...they can tell you how or even attach (with your permission) to your computer and configure your security software to accept the program...pretty simple to exclude it as a virus threat.

I easily configured the eBahn reader software and run it on a PC with Windows Vista...installed and configured quickly...and has always run flawlessly.

Why is it on these forums no one actually tells how it's done, the conversation breaks down into what manual to reference and not the actual diy process?

You can find instructions with google. I did when I did mine. Writeups on other forums IIRC.
The outer ones require removing two 10mm? Nuts which are behind circular caps in the plastic at 90˚ to the lights. The lights then push outwards and unhook on the outer edge as the studs exit the holes where you removed the nuts.
The inners require removal of lid trim and is more involved.
