Default source for 2000 A8 fog grille

I had found a source on the other forum which was supposed to be $70 but calling them, it is double that.

i know these things are like finding hens teeth used, but if anyone knows of a source (new or used), please let me know.

To reiterate is it the grille on the lower valence that covers the fog light. I'm looking for the passenger side. Oh and yes, when i do find one, i'll be sure to strap it in with a zip tie so it won't fall out and get crushed under my tires.

I understand the only years that will fit are 2000-2002.

Sorry, don't know a source...impossible to find used.

Just a comment on keeping them in:
When I first bought my car at 35K miles, I noticed how easy it'd be to lose one. So I just reworked the factory connections to keep em snug....carefully heated the clips and bent to original positions, snapped in and still have em at 110K...have even pulled em a couple of times and still snug.

Default zip ties

Thanks, I also heard about the Zips and put one on the driver's side. Horse was already out of the barn for passenger side. If I do find one that doesn't require big bucks, I'll zip it too.

There is a very high mileage A8 for sale on a used car lot in the low rent district of a city near me. For a moment I thought, hmmmmm, they come out easy, but it crossed my mind the owner might have a "junk yard dog". In this neighborhood it could be a Rottwieler or Pit Bull so I erased the thought.
