Q5 Feedback Wanted
#11
Hi Mrs. O,
We are looking to pick up in the first week of April to coincide with kids' spring break in Atlanta. I was thinking of going of starting the discussions in October/November and to finalize the order by December. My concern is that with Q5 selling off the lots as soon as they arrive, many dealers may not be too willing to offer the 5% discount. There are 3 dealers in Atlanta and I'm going to start the process in a a month or so to see who would be the best one to work with.
Ciao.

Q5
Love my '11 Q5 Premium Plus. I traded in an 08 TT Roadster for the Q. They both are fast. The Q has Quattro and a 2.0 engine. I drove it and the 3.2 and couldn't tell much difference so I saved on the premium gas by only getting the 4 cylinder.
I bought mine in Jacksonville, FL and they ended up selling it for cost ( i took the Consumer Digest price sheet in). They tried to add the advertising package but I said i was walking if they did, so they didn't add it in.
I dealt with G. O. Easton and he was very fair and competent.
I had a transmission problem @11,000 and they had to put a new one in. Audi Customer Care made it good by adding in several scheduled maintenances for free since I had the inconvenience so soon after purchase.
The Q does 110-115mph (as fast as I want to go) and handles as smooth as silk. They say it is governored at about 130 but you couldn’t prove that by me. The TT was a ticket looking for a place to be written and the Q5 is an unmarked rocket ship.
GET THE FACTORY HITCH! They want way too much after the fact. I tried to save $$ and it cost me.
Hope you love your as much as I love mine.
Mine is white with tan interior and no nav. I bought a Garmin for $150 bucks and saved $2500.
