I lost the transmission on my 2011 Q 7 TDI last week, no forward and no reverse and had to be towed ... Audi has told me they had to reload the software to get the transmission to work ?? there was no leak on mechanical issues they claim.

Anyone had the same problem ?

 

Never even heard of that happening before.

Audi Tek ... Thanks, I talked with the dealer again .... told me that they had a Audi Bulletin on the problem ... thats how they knew to reload the software ...it sounds “fishy” to me ... I plan to talk to Audi direct.
