Default 2.0 roadster

I went to the dealer today and got to drive the 2.0 roadster and let me tell you it is very nice. the S-tronic does awesome, it knows when to shift pretty good and the pickup realley surprised me. The I did the DSG and that was even better, the pickup was great and the steering feel is a 100 times better. The car stock is pretty quick and if these cars get chipped and a better flowing exhaust watch out. I dont think there will have to be a lot of modding this car to get a good quick car. Cant wait to get mine. The headlights look awesome too and the new seats (leather outline with that velvet like material inside looks really cool. These are going to be great cars.

the "velevt like stuff" is the alacantra. they did a comparison test In C&Dof the new 2.0 against a 350z,rx8,and mustang gt. the audi placed second.......lol..... they should have shown the 3.2 cuattro. that car is much better. i think C&D has something against the TT. anyone remember the original article from them that called the TT an "allmost sports car". A holes!!!

you chip the 2.0T and add a higher flowing exhaust and you are right where the 3.2 is and a few thousand dollars saved. The 2.0T also won engine of the year. I mean if you really want an all engine car then you go get the vet or something like that but if you want something that has some class and style, and does ok power wise and mpg wise then the TT is perfect.

The only porblem I have with the 2.0T is that you can't get it in AWD form. I think the optimum configuration would be a 2.0T awd coupe with a chip upgrade. Maybenext year or the year after Audi will add a true quattro system or even the haldex unit to the2.0T, but then againpigs might flyover too.

AWD would be nice but that puts on weight too. With the better suspension they have on there now they say that when they drove the 2.0 on the tracks that it felt really good and they didnt feel they needed the AWD. And when I drove it it did feel really good and the steering is a mechanical steering now and no more power steering fluid. I loved the way it felt. Plus the dsg and the sport drive keeps you from spinning your tires but still shifts at red line. Now a V6 turbo AWD would be awesome.
