I run an APR 93 chip.
In upper gears: If I give steady gas, I get 15-16 lbs of boost
If I mash the gas, I spike to 20-22
In first gear no matter how I treat the gas, I show no boost. The car comes on quick, and I hit red line almost immediately, so I don't believe there is a problem. I just find it unusual that no boost shows.
Is this normal?
Thoughts?

 

Perhaps a problem with your boost gauge? Are you running a Boost Machine or other MBC? You can dial in how fast the boost comes in and smooth out power delivery with the bleed off valve. Works wonders.

 

You jsut dont make the same amount of boost in first and sometimes second due to load/gearing.
