Default Brake lights staying on

I've noticed this twice now but I will turn my car off and the brake lights will stay on. WTF??? Is there a brake light relay that I coulda messed up? Has anybody noticed this on their ride yet? Any help would be nice.

you discovered free energy! ok ok...I really dunno actually...maybe the brake light switch by the brake pedal is bad and the car thinks the brake is still depressed?

When I first got my TT, I just thought that it had automatic lights because when I had the lights on and I parked, the headlights would go off, so I would get out of the car and then I would notice that the rear lights were on. So I played with it a little bit and now I just manually turn the lights off whenever I get out of it. If that makes any sense???

That said, could it be possible that the tail lights are just being left on because of a setting with the automatic lights?

This probably isnt it, but I noticed no one else said anything about it, so I took a shot in the dark...

rear break peddle switch to be found above your break peddle chances are its come unhooked ( it just plugs in and a little twist to the right

What does this plug look like? Any specific color? Do I need to take off my panel down there?
