Default Car not starting! :(

I have the 1.8t 2001 Audi TT coupe...today I started the car up and everything was fine...no problems at all. I stopped for gas and when I was done pumping I tried to start the car and nothing happened. I have full power to everything (or so it would seem), but nothing is happening. The car doesn't even attempt to turn over or anything. I was able to push it and then pop the clutch to jump start it...I'm thinking the starter is bad or something...but I'm not sure. It just won't even attempt to start! Any help would be greatly appreciated...you guys haven't let me down yet!

since it started with a jump start it could be a bad ignition switch or as you say the starter motor ( check the wires )

it could also be the relay which is above the knee panel behind the main fuse box

Do you have a system in your car?
If so... usually the main hot wire coming off the battery (0 guage or larger) has an inline fuse on it. Since they normally just run your car's power off that wire, if you blew that fuse... you would have no power.

Also... if you have a weak battery terminal connection... alot of times you'll get lights inside and radio and all that... but the connection isn't enough to start it. When I have mine loosened, all the power inside works... but when i flip the ignitions... everything goes out. no click... no nothing. Check your battery terminals

I do not have a system and I checked the wires and everything seems fine there...I did pull down the kick panel just to look at the relay and I can even hear the electricity hitting the relay (which I'm not sure if I'm supposed to or not...). I have also had that problem with the loose battery terminal cable giving me power but just not enough to start the car...but when that was happening if I tried to start it all the lights went dead usually...this is staying fully on...the car seems to have enough power...I dunno...very frustrated...didnt' even have a sign this was coming!
