Default CD changer removal 01 Roadster

Hello all

I just got a 2001 tt roadster and I am tring to pull out the CD changer. I have pulled off the panel behind the drivers seat and am having no luck getting it to budge. does anyone know how to get this out. Im tring to install an aux input.

to install just an aux-in jack? if you are going to retain the 13 pin jack, go into the trunk. remove the center rear area of the trunk (suitcase sized) by prying away to "single use" retaining clips, then just slide that piece of trim out. now, you can see into that space, just to the left, the junction the cable coming out of the cd changer makes with the cable comign from the head unit. as far as removing the cd changer per se, their is at least a torx bolt visible just from removing the cover that you would to swap cds in your cartridge.
