Coolant light
mine started doing the same thing when the battery started to fail. stayed on a few minutes and then went off. thought the new battery would fix it but it still happens on cold mornings. i noticed the level is a little low until the car warms up then the volume increases. check the level before you start your car while its still cold and see if its under the min. level.
It's actually the sensor inside the coolant expansion tank... that round one on the passenger side. There is a sensor in there that checks the level. You can either change out the tank for a new one, or try to clear the sensor. Try taping some sandpaper on the end of a screwdriver and reach in to clean off the sensors.
I'll go with the coolant expansion (or more like contraction) theory.
How cold is it when you have this problem? Happens to me anytime its below 15°F. Like last night, when it was -4°F.
On a cold day, check the level before you start the car. I bet you'll see its below teh sensor. Doesn't take long to warm up and fill the bottle again.

+1 Happens to me all the time during the Winter.
