Default Failing cluster??

I filled up a full tank today in the morning, and the needle didn't move at all. As i drove another 5 miles, the needle didn't even make it to half-way. Is my cluster failing - or can it be related to the cold and/or snow?

Thanks

It may seem like a silly question but, it can effect how the gauge reads... Did you turn your car off before fueling?

Try a bottle of Techron fuel system cleaner, you may have just a little too much crud built up in your fuel tank, and the sensor that measures how full your tank is isn't getting a reading.
