Hi Everyone,

First time Audi owner.

I was lucky enough to pick up a 2008 TT 2.0T - Ocean Blue with all the options - at least I thought

I will probably have a list of questions but I thought I would start with one.

The car sheet indicates that it has the $1000 BOSE option with Sirius radio. I checked under the cover in the trunk and there is a space in the top left side of the foam that is empty. Can anyone confirm whether the car sheet option indicates the tuner was installed or whether it's just wired for Sirius?

I would check the owners manual but this is also missing. If anyone knows, can you also confirm the sirius tuner model that would fit this vehicle. I found several threads but none indicated which unit is for the TT.

As a note, the car came from the auction so I am thinking some of these items that "disappear" show up on ebay.

Any help would be appreciated.

In case anyone else is looking for the information, I have confirmed the part number is 8E0 035 593 Q. Not sure if other models will work but I got this from a dealer.

 

That is the part number for the sat radio tuner, but usually the antenna is different for cars with that option. Not physically but the connections to it under the headliner. With your vin number the dealer should be able to tell you if your car is prepped for that option or is supposed to have it. Then you'd know if that tuner is on ebay or not. I could tell you if the vin is provided.

 

Thanks - I did call a dealer and he said I was setup for Sirius. I think I just need to plug it in and activate the tuner. Have one on the way - I hope it works.

I just got an owners manual. I am hoping it will tell me what I should have in the trunk. I don't have a spare and there seems to be a few items missing. Just not sure what I am looking for.

I will post another thread on that specific question in hope of a reply.
