Guys with boost gauges

Default Guys with boost gauges

Hey just wondering how much vaccum do you guys run at idle, or does anyone know what your supposed to run. I noticed on a pic of my gauge that I am only get about 14 on the boost gauge. Just wondering if this is the norm or not. Thanks.

scratch that 18 to 20 at start up and deceleration but like 15 or so at idle i just checked

with 2nd air pump on it should be ~15in hg and when warm or crusing ~20in hg (depending on altitude).

i have a 180TTQC

19 vacuum.
11 Boost

My DP is broken and I "think" i have a pinhole vacuum leaksomewhere around my SMIC because I was throwing a code(17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!) P1297)but maybe it could be that my broken flex pipe (totally disconnected at the flex pipe...). The problem has to be killing my backpressure.

So if I am only seeing 14 what is wrong? That is after SAI is off everyting is warmed up and just idle...

i'll double check but i'm pretty sure mine is around 20-25 hg vaccum after warm up....like i said i'll double check. just go ahead an order the starter kit form Hose techniques.com and replace every hose....i did and its really easy...only hard ones are the two on the intake manifold(that you will have to take off to get to)
