I don't know of any TT's that have halogen low beams. All TT's I know of have halogen fog lights, and highs, and xenon HID's for the low beam.

That means, if you wanna change colors, you can just swap bulbs for the low beams, but make sure you get the right style connector. That site I linked above has a section with pics for the diff. types of connectors Audi uses/used.

OK. The reason I ask is because I don't know if I need to get D2S or H1. I found these 35w and 55w HID kits at this website and they looked pretty nice. http://lightwerkz.net/prod_hidkit.htm

What do you guys think?

okay, so one of mine just went out - what is the cheapest replacement set or single lamp I can put in, and where can i buy it. ;-) not totally worried about it matching right now, i just need something so I don't get pulled over.

D2S is the hid bulb... h1 is halogen. In early models the HID's were an option, but almost everyone got it. I've only ever seen one TT with halogens. D2S is the bulb you need. I got mine off of ebay 6000k temp for $28 shipped. No need to spend $200-300 on bulbs. BTW, D2R is a universal bulb that will fit just fine if you want to save some cash.
