You would need to drill holes in the crash bar, but not cut into it like the gti did.

The ebay kits use a godspeed core which are almost identical to the tcarbon cores. Or if you want, send the ebay retailer a message and have them send you a piping kit and then get a core that is 28" long end to end.

you have to ask the seller of the tuner-stop style kit if they will just sell you the piping. Some will, some wont.

pshh... i love my tCarbon FMIC. Then again, I have the 225 and don't have to worry about the piping nightmare they provide with the 180.

I haven't had an issue yet, but maybe in a few years I'll need to upgrade once I install my plasma powered, super hovercraft mod and am pushing 32459865298634857 bazillion AWHP [8D]ftw

okay, like i said when i originally got it, the tCarbon 225 FMIC is AWESOME..for what im using it for.

I have it too for the 225 and for the price, I agree it's awesome.I have no factual data to support it but looking at the crap SM's I took off, this made sense as good cheap upgrade for a stock turbo setup. Come one...it's only $500. When the time comes to upgrade to the BT, I can sell the kit for $250.I am sure someone would buy it.
