maf cleaning advice

hey, im cleaning my maf sensor this week, any advice/procedure? thanks

just remove from the car and spray with maf/electronic cleaner. Let it dry and reinstall

Doesn't due much for MPG per say. It's more that it allows it to function properly. A dirty MAF will give incorrect readings to the ECU and cause the engine to run poorly.
