Default revo 93 octain program vs 92 octane gas

Hi All, my 01 225 QT has the Revo 93 Octane program flashed into the ECU. As some of you know, I am moving out to Seattle WA, where the highest is 92 octane. Should I go back to the tuner and have them reflash the ECU to something lower or is 93 program ok with 92 gas?

yes you should reflash to a lower octane fuel. revo software is a static tune and will not properlay adapt to changes.

I have the Revo 93 tune and live in Seattle. I have put 15K miles on the car and haven't had any ill effects from it. I have had other things go wrong on the TT but no "tuning" related incidents but that is just my experience.

Ask Revo. I am sure they would know the best.

I'd ask them too, but it's kinda hard to tell if they are biased toward

a.)making their product sound better
b.)selling you another tune
c.)Telling you the truth

So just keep that in mind when asking questions

You could use this it shouldnt pull to much timing. If you are really concerned you can always just pick up some dynotabs and put those in every 3 tanks or so.

if I get SPS3, would that allow me to reprogram the car to fit the 92 octane?
