Runnin in the mountains of cali
well how fast do you need to be? If you need more than that, your only option is then a big turbo BT upgrade.
Bolt ons should net you 50hp and 70ftlbs atleast. Also are you a 180 or 225?

Thanks man, I appreciate it. For the most part I really dont have a problem with them on these windy, twisty roads, honestly they have a"S" load of over steer with there big *** heavy noses. On the track I think I can cut em up in the turns!
anyways, i'm a regular mountain/canyon guy here in cali. anyone can dump money into their car and make it fast for drag. full throttle it and jam it into gears. but canyon's is where you put your money where your ****!n mouth is - 90% driver, 10% car. my friend's 21 yr. old ae86 have kept up and even at times, take evo's in the canyons.
Just a heads up big daddy. They never introduced the bi-turbo engine to the a4. It came standard in the S4 from 98-02 maybe even 04. They run standard in some a6's. All I did was chip mine and it was way over 300hp.
I've been runnin these mountains for the past 24 years. It wasnt until my TT quattro did I find a car worthy of my driving skills. Now what ever I want, she digs. Then digs some more! I dont know where you at but we have the 4th steepest grade in the country up herejust above Yosemite. If you hit it at the right time of the day,,, it's a blast! But thats just one ofroad wonders up here. If your anywhere around here we need to hook up & I'll take ya for a cruise that you'll either be pickin bugs out of teeth from smilin to much or it stay stuck on your face for two days!!! Guaranteed.

You got that right! Car matter? Yes. Skill matter? Absolutely. But a lot of it is just plain how much ***** you have and how much you value your life. I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but pushed to the limit on a race track, your TT has no chance against a AC kit car. They are VERY light with big power and big tires. Of course you should still do it because it's a ton of fun. The race track feels soo much safer than the canyons that you can really push the limits of the car without probable death if you make a mistake. There is a good track TT guy on here who can help you with track setup too. Have fun!!!!
