Does anyone know whether an alignment is required after cv shaft replacement on my 2001 TT Quattro? I was told a slotted front end control bar has to be removed and the car realigned after cv shaft replacement. but, 3 different places told me no, it does not have anything to do with the alignment. Can anyone help?

 

i dont think so. i dont remember getting an alignment when i had mine done.
