Default warning beep

2000 audi tt. Warning symbol for head light/tail light malfunction keeps coming on and making a beeping noise,but all my lights work. Can anyone please help me.

Hey i have a 2000 tt as well and that just happened to me 2 weeks ago! the clicking noise is going but my signals arent turned on... but it keeps clicking anyways... right?

it comes and goes.... very annoying.. havent had time to check it back at the damn dealer.... :S

Just went through the maintenance manual, not a lot of help. The only thing that I can think of would be either the relay or a fuse.

best guess is to replace the relay, which is the hazard button. is that where the noise is coming from?

That is where the clicking is coming from. Do you think it's the hazard button switch? Any idea how to get it out?

Is there a site that you or anybody else can direct me to that will show me how to get that center console out? Or how to get the radio out? I guess i am tryint to get that switch out and it seems that i have to either take the center console out or the radio or both.

I have the same problem. I refilled the brake fluid but it keeps making the beeping sound. I usually jsut turn on my parkking lights and it wont make the beep sound anymore but i really need to fix this problem. I think it is the hazard relay button. anyone know how much the dealer would charge for this?

I have the same problem on my TT 2000, The headlight/tail flashing light came up on my cluster ( the one with circle two lines across it and square at the top of circle) It's comes up randomly...I checked both headlights and tail lights and both are working... What could be the issue?



also can i disable it with vag com
