hey guys..well jess mad happy that im gettin my shiet put in my TT. im getting a ko4 turbo put in, a high flow exhaust manifold, swaybars, and coilovers..hopefully ill see big improvements..

Plan on getting my Borla exhaust sometime after the holidays

I've heard alot about that turbo - that's way after I decide what chip to throw in mine.

Btw - when I had my stereo system installed I got talked into lining the car with Dynamat noise damping mating -wholly silent night, Batman! What a difference! Now it cost me $500 for them to do it ontop of the cost of rewiring my sound system - but I have yet to regret it.

Now I have to run with the windows cracked to hear the turbo though [:-] lol

 

Did having your car dynamated really make that much difference? ...I'm coming from a 7 series were was smooth as butter and quite as a movie theature with the sound off....

If it does...I am 100% interested in this option. Did they do just the doors?...or did the pull carpet? ...the roof down?...what about the trunk? ....

This would be a DIY for me...but I believe it would be easy enough...and completely worth it...if it actully makes things quite.

Yeah, they did everything but the roof. Before I could hear the tire noise BIG TIME (had the same problem with my 944 way back). You get use to it after a bit though, so I learned to ignore it. But then I went to softer rubber tires and it helped - but that's like throwing fuzzy slippers on a running back - she just doesn't handle the same. But after the matting - I can barely hear them - or the engine - or the bumps in the road.

They did a great, professional job - and honestly, for $500 (parts and labor) it was well worth it for me. Yeah, I could have saved money, but to tear up the flooring and put it back like it all was was more than I was willing to go for... lol...
