1999 b5 2.8 exhaust questions

hi guys im new to this forum so i apologize if this has been asked before has anyone just removed there rear muffler and left the factory resonator on? and if so how does it sound

Very little difference until you go wide open throttle, and then you can hear a little change.

I have it absolutely love it its loud wen under load but doesnt sound ricer and its cheap to do

Thanks guys i dont want it too loud but it needs a little more than stock ill give it a shot today and see what happens
