Well.. it is, in a way, an opinion.. Why? Because you have to trust that BITOG is doing the correct test correctly. There are other sites that do the same tests and get different results.. And some sites that do completely different tests. In any case, most of these biased in one way or another and you have to decided for yourself which one you bielive... and that is an opinion.

 

Going on topic...

When my brake warning light was on for the front pads, it would beep like you are describing. The warning light looks like this (o). Not sure what else beeps though.

Just wait for the weather to get cold so you can see your display better :P

 

Pretty sure he figured it out when the dipstick was dry..
