this is exactly right. the motor will boost if the load is much more than the amount it is already enduring at those speeds.

I checked mine several times now and I'm at 2750 at 60mph.

I know my speedo is accurate because I've timed it but I can't vouch for the accuracy of the tach though.

Intriguing.
