I had no problems starting ever since I had this car and no signs of starting problems. Until today, I got in my car with the intention to start my vehicle and only cranked the key for about .5 of a second because my hand was in a awkward position. I immediately tried to start it right after that and it wouldn't do anything when I turned the key. Everything powers up but no crank over. I'm a noobie to Audi so I'm not sure if this is a common problem. Please help.

 

You need to confirm you have 12 volts at the starter. If no voltage, I would suspect the ignition switch on the back of the lock cylinder.
