Default AirBag Light On and Aftermarket related issue

Heyy guys,

I've had this issue for over a year now, but It seems inspection will become madantory next year.

Over a year ago, my buddy accidently touched the air bag plugin under the front passenger seat and my light turned on. I've tried using my OBDII ross tech scanner to scan that module but it gives me "can't communicate with module". I have this issue with reading other modules (checking the engine is fine).

Could my aftermarket radio be the issue because ross tech indicated it was a possibility. I took it to a professional radio installer and he told me everything was fine.

Any suggestions??

unplug and replug under the seat. The connections have a tendency to come loose.

Yes you do and you need vagcom to do that. You should put your location info in on the User CP so your city isdisplayed. You may find one of us is local to you and can do it for you.
