I Just bought my first Audi A4 and im having troubles with the power locks, they wount work, when ever i press the button on the key the lights blink but they wount unlock or lock. i try to do it manually from the door i press the button and still they wount unlock or lock, does anybody know why is doing that.

i need help please.[>:]

I have the same problem!
Did you check fuses, relays already? Maybe one the power lock fuse is burnt!

hey you know where the power lock fuses are?

 

It should be where the other fuses are, can you hear it make any noise in the back left of the car right by the tire when you push the button (thats where the air pump is that controls them which will sometimes shatter and stop working). If its not the fuse its either a shattered pump or a loose connection somewhere thats preventing air pressure from building and unlocking the doors.

 

i have same problem but mostly in winter when its cold...pisses me off maybe coz locks freeze but when its warm im fine...just when its cold
