So my daughter was driving the car today and called to tell me the car was making a funny noise. Always a bad sign! She made it another half mile or so to her grandparents house and parked it. I checked it out and there was a huge puddle of ATF under the car. Had it transported home on a flatbed. I was hoping for something simple but I have found that there is a massive leak when it's running coming from around the flywheel/torque converter area. I mean like a constant stream of ATF. My experience on other vehicles has been that the pump is shot and leaking like crazy. Before I pull the transmission and start hunting for another one, does anybody have an opinion on the problem? I don't think I've seen this problem on the forum before, but maybe I'm just lucky. It's got 127K miles and I was hoping to get a lot more out of it!
