B5 A4 Ignition Switch Problem
My car has the ignition problem. Currently my girl friend is driving the car in another city for internship. It happened several weeks ago and my girl friend had to turn the key slightly counter-clockwise before she could have the wipers, turn lights, etc, working. Afterwards, it keeps working fine until today. Every time she have to turn it back about 1/4" to the "ON" position.
Since she had no idea about the car and the new city. I am asking that whether there will be something worse if we leave the problem there for two weeks until I go there and fix it by myself? For example, leave the keys in the "start" position and driving for 5 or 10 minutes? Or keep turning the key backwards to the "ON" position.
I've ordered a replacement online. Thank you very much!
