Battery brand recommendations?

Default Battery brand recommendations?

My battery's dead for the second time, its a die hard... anybody have good experiences with other brands?

I've used nothing but Interstate batteries for my car. I'm on my second one, the first having lasted six solid years. The only reason I replaced it is for preventative maintenance.

They are mostly the same thing with a different sticker. Do yourself a favor and don't buy the recommended one for your car. It'll run you almost 200 bucks iirc. I got one that's almost the exact size and the same cold cranking amps that was recommended for a Lexus SC300 I believe, which cost like 75 bucks.

Duralast Gold from AutoZone is what I got. Set me back a buck fifty, 3 year replacement, 7 year prorated warranty. Haven't had a problem since...

(I'm not saying that's what you should get, that's just what I got)

Default Some AUDIs run the battery hot

meaning they keep the voltage above average even when fully charged.
If you live in a hot climate that makes it worse.
If your model has high temps under the hood ....
Check the voltage when running with an accurate voltmeter.
