Default Brake pressure switch

Hi,
New to the forum so apologies if this has been asked before. I have the abs and eps light coming up after a short time driving! I've plugged car in and have the fault 01435 - brake pressure sensor 1 (g65)

I've just purchased this car! It has a new brake servo! Should I try bleeding the brakes before trying to source and find a pressure switch???

Thanks

Bleeding the system could help, since you say it has a new brake servo.

The brake switch could not have even set/adapted correctly if it was replaced as well.

If you drive with the cruise on, and it won't engage, or it won't turn off when you tap the brakes, it's more than likely the switch...IF your cruise was working fine to begin with.

Here's more information on that fault code:

Hi thanks for the reply,
I'm not sure whether the guy before has replaced the brake switch, will have a look tomorrow!

The unit faults when you have your foot on the brakes and either turn lock to lock or have your foot on the brakes for a prolonged period!

When brakes are pumped the pedal goes hard and brakes are not as efficient, what you reckon ?!?

I've found a Bosch pressure sensor for £125 , would rather try cheaper options first!

Appreciate your help!

Bleed the brakes first and go from there.
