Breather hose
#11
Would you recommend trying to clean/replace it now (even though it's not causing any problems), or should I just leave it alone?

There's not really much to clean. I guess you could try blowing through it with a plastic-safe engine degreaser, but otherwise I'd leave it alone (or replace it). It can't hurt to replace it, if you were to go through the trouble of removing it for cleaning.

Ok so I removed all the breather hoses so I can replace them with the 034 kit. The problem I am having now is I cant figure out how to remove the brass piece or what ever it is from the hole. Talking about the breather hole below the intake. I have removed the clip that holds the hose in place but cant get the center metal piece out. Any help would be great as I have removed everything else. Thanks

Nevermind I finally got it out. That thing was the worst thing about the whole job. Everything went together great except the hose that comes off the pcv valve. it was a little tricky. I finally had to get a different hose to put on it because the pre made hose that comes in the kit just did not want to connect to the upper part of the vacuum system. The one end that connects to the pcv valve was a perfect fit but the other end was just to small of an opening. As people have stated before, it is a doable job without removing the intake just be prepared with the right tools. Now to tackle the coolant leak coming from the rear of the motor but not today!
