PROBLEM SOLVED! my girlfriend failed to tell me that when she brought her car in the tech replaced the plugs with some **** ones.. so i changed out the plugs with the ngk plugs that are supposed to be in there.. and she purred like a kitten.. as a BONUS find, the spark plug wires in my car are misprinted, the number 1 and 3 plugs are labeled backwards.. i have no idea how long they have been on the car incorrectly.. switched em so it was right and the car runs fine.. thank god. kinda glad i fixed the fuel filter as well though, couldnt blow through it if i tried.. im sure my GF could tho!!! lol

 

girlfriends and audi's don't mix. both require attention, money, and if you mix them together; one of them is going to get hurt.

im glad you fixed it though. guess the gas wasn't the problem.

 

yeah yesterday i was just sitting there and was realizing the plugs i had put in werent the same as the plugs that were currently installed... check the glove box and the NGK's were laying there.. switched em out. ran fine.. thank god.
