Default which clutch kit

I'm needing to put a new clutch in my 2001 audi a4 1.8T. A local mechanic is going to help me do it and he told me to go ahead and order the kit. I'm interested in something that will be dependable, not so interested in high performance. I found a Luk kit for $124.00 seems to good to be true? It is here: 01 2001 Audi A4 Quattro Clutch Kit - Clutch - LUK, Sachs, Valeo - PartsGeek

Interested in opinions on which kit to get?

Thanks.

I'm running a Sachs kit, with a lightweight flywheel, I like how it works but it didn't come with a pilot took so u will have to get one, summit sells them. Good luck, doing my clutch was quite an experience

^^^ good to know. My clutch is still fine but it's the kind of thing at the back of my mind given I have 216,500 miles on the original. Not that I look forward to doing another clutch - did one and it wasn't the most fun I've ever had working on these cars.

Nah it's not that it's hard, there's just a lot of **** to deal with. To be fair, we were simultaneously doing a timing service, cooling system flush and overhaul, and power steering system overhaul. I'm sure that added to the perception of how much work it was. You shoulda seen all the parts disassembled - there was **** all over the place. Looked like the car hit an IED lol.
