hey thanks mike, thats a real helpful site. i think if i decide to do this ill probably use it. if i got that kit with the mani and the downpipe and all of that and i went with the 3071r i would need the 4 bolt discharge?

 

Yes the standard 4 bolt housing not the GT 4 bolt.

It's disheartening to see so few big hp guys on here, but I think a lot of it comes down to the ones with the money to drop readily on a BT setup may have moved on/up in the Audi world to newer or more costly models, or decided to step over to an S4 rather than build a 1.8T. And a lot of our members are younger guys who are getting into these cars fairly recently and don't have the coin to drop $4-6k to thoroughly build a monster.

 

I really wish it was only 4-6k. But AF doesn't seem to have the gear heads that whoretex does. There are some way more serious cars over there.

i have about 6k into my car and am maybe at 280-300whp


if you want 400+ whp you will have about 12k into the car... not counting the car
