I have a 99.5 A4 1.8T and looking to convert to manual. I didn't consider a manual car 2 years ago when I bought the car and now I regret it. The tranny is slippin in 1st and 2nd and it's time; when it comes to trannys I hand it over to someone else. Anybody have a rough estimate of how much this may cost with a used tranny? Or is there anyone in the PA/NJ area that would do it for less than probably a shop?
