Default Depo HID adjusment

Yo guys my buddy just bought a set of depo 2 PC headlights for his 99 A4. He has the depos with the 6000K VVME HID's. Now my main question is how and or why is the light facing the ground. It goes like 20 Ft forward and then just drops off. We need to adjust the headlights but i just have no damn clue how. Does anyone have any help for me?

THanks.

uh yeah, it should tell you but there are 2 screws attached to cogs, one controls the lateral adjustment while the other one (closest tot eh radiator when installed) controls the height. im pretty sure thats how their supposed to be, with the initial beam going to about 35 feet before cutting off and then the rest of the lighting is there to reflect off the signa nd reflective material, in total blackness (i got the same things with 4300k and do a alot of driving out int eh boonies) the visibility is a alot better and you can defiently see the diff between teh stock and HIDs.

Yep, the projectors have a sharp cutoff by design. Don't worry though - with the lights adjusted correctly for height, the light will cut off on the road, but it will project far forward on signs and other objects.

mine were like that too when i first got mine installed
it took a min. or so of cranking to get them both up to a reasonable level, but once it got there, it was easy to adjust

Look at the top of the headlights. At each rear top corner there is an adjuster. One aims them up and down, the other side to side.

lol and mine are the opposite. hid's point too high and can't be lowered anymore, and the brights point about 2 feet in front of the car. one of these days i'll get annoyed and rip them apart and fix them.
