Default dip stick a4

Dumb question but i cant bloody find it - where is the dip stick for the auto please any one , can't locate to check levels .

There is no dipstick that comes with the car. You check the oil level via the MMI. If you want a dipstick you can buy one through a vendor such as ECS.

VolkAudi - What are you talking about?? OP, what engine do you have? On a 1.8T there's a big bright orange pull handle between two of the intake manifold runners. On a 2.8 it's on the passenger side - the pull handle is level with the valve cover. Your B8 may be that way but you're answering questions in the B5 section. B5s have oil dipsticks.

If the OP is talking about a stick for the auto transmission, and not an oil dipstick on an automatic car, there isn't one - you pull the fill plug and check that way.
