Default DRD transmission replacement question

I have a 97 Audi A4 2.8l fwd. The automatic transmission wont shift through any of the gears anymore and its time for me to replace it. The issue i'm having is finding one from the local junk yards. My A4 does not have tiptronics and the only ones im coming across either tiptronic, Quattro, or MTX.

Can i use the tiptronic transmission? If i can, do i use the shifter with tiptronic? Do i need to replace the TCM as well?

Can i use a Quattro and remove the driveshaft? I know you can do that with some cars, but am unsure about Audi's.

A have also not ruled out manual swapping it. I know that i need trans, clutch, slaves, pedals, cluster, linkage. Would i need to replace the wiring or do i just unplug the TCM?
