Default drivetrain question

Is there anyone out there who makes a limited slip for our dif? or even a full spool? Any info would help. And how much poweer can the stock drivetrain handle? (manual tranny)

the center part of the diff has several bolts that should be replaced if your looking to go over 350-400hp. but if you do that it can handle an *** load of power. you may torque a half shaft into pieces, but those can be replaced fairly easily.

stasis makes several different differentials for these cars, also you can get an upgraded peloquin (sp?). theres a company that makes limited slip diffs that i cant remember the name of right now, they are out there tho. try searching the forum for peloquin or stasis differential.

I still run 100% stock OEM driveline in my A4 that makes 600whp.

Why? A limited slip diff for the rear is around $1200. Not exactly needed for a AWD car like it is needed for a rwd/fwd.

Cause when you are under hard cornering in a race, you want the power to go to the outside wheel that's being driven.

There is a market for this LSD unit, meaning there are people who are willing to spend pretty good money for a high quality product.

Ok, just wanted to know if you were going to be using it road racing, because its a expensive mod for a daily driver.

Eurocode and 034 use the LSD's in their cars.

I thought the Stasis was $550 after you return your core?

That is the center diff (tosen) upgrade not a LSD rear/front diff.
