The problem is the drain plumbing/hose for the sunroof. It runs down the A pillar from the sunroofand drains out at the bottom of the car. The hose gets clogged and rotts and breaks over time, resulting in a pathway for water to get in your car via somewhere along the A pillar/door. Now that its leaking, youll have to replace it. You need to take the A pillar/head liner appart to get at it.Very common.

Your welcome. It's also possible that the windshield seal has rotted too. Especially if the windshield has ever been replaced.

When that happened to me, clearing the drain under the battery solved the problem.

i did see something that i thought might have been the problem, it was a filter on the passengers side under the plastic thing against the windshield, the filter was all bent and there was a giant gap, ill get a picture tomorrow some time after work if it doesn`t rain

Never seen that drain... It was real dark when I replaced my battery last [&:] I guess it's possible. Especially since you are the DIY Queen of AF.

^Yes, there's drains in the front cowl. Crud gets clogged in there and I've seen several flooded ECMs and cabins from poor maintenance in this area.

My next direction would have been sunroof drains as well.

@onepoint8tee.... looks sorta like this i forgot to put it back in when i cleaned it out, i was late for my tints appointment that day, but the water drains thru the frame so thats not the cause of my leak, i ran the hose on it for like 5 min and watched the inside of my car to test it.
