I was looking to buy a replacement water temp sensor for the car from both ECS tuning or from German Parts Online and noticed that they both have different sensor types for the same car year and model. Does anyone know which temp sensor to go with? There seems to be one with a harness clip that is a complete square and one with a square w/ a rounded side.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

what is your engine and year. chances are you need the blue top sensor from ecs im not sure which one german parts has.

 

My 99 used the blue sensor. If you deal with ECS, just give them the VIN number and they'll send the proper one.
