Help. Whrn I plug in an OBD tool fro autozone it says no connection. I brought my car to get a smog and the mechanic told me the same thing, no connection.

 

do you have the stock radio?

 

Actually my radio is dead as well. Someone from here told me that there is a fuse behind the radio unit, but I dont have a tool to get it out. Does the radio being off affect the OBD connection?

 

well being off no but being dead maybe. there were some people having the same issue with an aftermarket headunit. if you go to walmart they might have the tool, at least the one in binghamton does. it's like 8 buxx or something, if you send me the money i'll send you one.

 

did he have the right personality key in there????? also was the car Key on engine off, if so, I have no idea
