Default front passenger wheel is ALWAYS dirty

My front passenger wheel always looks terribly dirty from what looks like grease, brake dust and just general grime and I can't figure it out.

I had that side axle and wheel bearing replaced about 3 months ago and it was obvious before I had those parts replaced that grease was leaking from somewhere.. but those parts have since been fixed and I can't figure it out.

The driver side front wheel looks dirty too, but it looks just like brake dust while the passenger side has grime and stuff all over it

did you or someone else replace the axle?
it could be from the CV boot.
could also be power steering fluid coming out of the rack, dripping down.

Only makes sense that it would be axle grease. The PS fluid is green (or should be), have you seen green fluid?

I can't really imagine leaking oil making it's way over there.

its definitely not oil and its not power steering fluid.

I had the axle/cv boot replaced and the wheel bearing replaced by my local mechanic. He said the the boot was torn and leaking grease but I would think with a brand new axle it wouldn't still be leaking.. :l its not nearly as bad as before but my rim gets pretty dirty faster then the others.

Did he actually replace the whole axle or just the boot?

Entire axle was replaced.. as he was replacing the axle he told me that the wheel had excessive play from a bad wheel bearing too so I got that fixed.

Its not incredilby annoying but it just has me uneasy that something is still wrong even though ALL of the symptoms I had when it was no good are completely gone.

If I drove in the rain with the previous axle/boot it would make a loud knocking clicking sound whenever I let off the throttle or when I turned. I took it in to my guy to look at he said the cv boot was torn
