Halogen or HID?

If you do get the slim kit with tiny ballast and you're able to fit it inside the housings, then drilling will not be necessary. Drilling is usually required when you put your ballast outside the housings in which you will have to run the cable through (which might required drilling).
How do I know if I have projector headlights? I see things about leveling and self-leveling, but I can't find any good info about what needs to be done with the stock halogens and the aftermarket HID kits.

Will I have any levelling problems using the DDM kit with the stock halogens?

ECS also has blackout headlight kits for OEM HID headlights... maybe those would be a better choice for an HID conversion? Or perhaps someone here can recommend a good blackout HID kit combo?
