as for my car- still not fixed and still a mystery. I'm going to try fuel injectors and i have to fix that hose.. I'm not sure what hose it is though, its like directly under the manifold does anyone know?and If fuel injectors don't work i am going to have to see about the wire harness for the spark plugs.
all right and a way to check the harness for spark as i call it is to basically get a volt meter and disconnect all the plug's that go to your coil's so the car wont turn on and check each, individually one that goes to the coil's to see if one is not giving you power and if that's the case then you can narrow it down to 3 thing's #1 you have a cut somewhere along your harness BIG *** PAIN IN THE BUTT (like onepointeightee said) #2 you have a bad ECU (easy fix)

BTW im talking out of my butt hear i used to do this with my JAP car's i have not tried this with my audi and i never got shocked so i think it's safe

Those coil packs that I posted are Meyle- which would be as good or better than a genuine audi part. Meyle is huge in the world of oem equivalent german parts. Meyle is originally who designed and introduced beefier tie rod ends for our cars to replace the crappy genuine audi one's. The dealer still uses the crappy one's.
and onepoint8tee just a question could this be a caused by the ECU being in limp mode and having a bad coil pack (and i know that she replaced them all ready just asking)

Any ignition part that is disrupting proper air and fuel ratio can put you in limp mode.
