Hey ppl, I recently bought a 96 A4 2.8 Quattro, and now it is having window problems, the front passenger window seems to be out of track! The motor seems to be fine so im guessing that i need the other part? I need help to as in what i can do to fix this solution quick becasue i live in a downtown area and kinda need my car to be locked...lol.

 

So, you probably need a regulator. You can pull off the inner door panel, push the window up, and tape it up in position until you get it fixed. IIRC, the door subframe has to be removed to replace the regulator. It's not the easiest job in the world, but it can be done.
