You cant, it can be done by a tuner. This is why there is a company that sells a chip that you plug into the dbw throttle pedal to allow you to increase the throttle response.

REVO is the only product I would recommend from what i've read throughout this thread. It is expensive but has truly amazing results, you should check it out. Also is your car "fly by wire"? what year is the motor?

Something else I just thought of, didn't think it might be related to this until now. Every time I launch, the power and RPMs go down for a fraction of a second before I get any decent acceleration. This happens about one second after the car starts to move and causes the car to "chug" regardless of how perfect my clutch/gas pedal footwork is. I know the clutch needs to be bled due to the point of engagement of the pedal, but would this really cause this kind of problem?

A chip is the next thing on the list, but I haven't made up my mind between APR, GIAC, and buying a used chipped ECU from the classifieds. Can a chip tuner safely change settings to make the engine wind up and wind down quicker?
I know this threads old, but I wanted to answer a question or 2 for any one searching. Didn't read through it all. Might be already answered.

The slight bog when starting off is most likely vacuum leak. You have air getting in thats not being metered. So there's not the correct air/fuel ratio. Once you get going, you can't notice it as much. On a turbo motor this can be fatal as it can cause pre-det with lean mixture. Thats something you want to fix fast. Make a plug for your intake, remove filter and make plug out of wood to put in it's place. Put an air valve from an intertube or old tire it in.
Here's the fun part. Put a smoke bomb just inside the intake (tape it down make sure it don't move), light it and install plug. pump 5-8 psi of air into the valve. DO NOT exceed 10 psi. Now just look for where the smoke comes from to see where the leak is. ( you might be able to hear the leak with out smoke.)
Lighter flywheel, after market 55k volt rapid fire ignition system, under drive pullys (not recommended unless motor is blueprint balanced), remove clutch fan if there is one, and lighten anything else that spins with the motor to get faster rev up and down.
