How much should 90K service cost?
How much should the service cost overall on a 98.5 A4 1.8TQ Tip?
If you could break down the price of parts + labor at a typical shop that would be even better... Thanks AF.

RE: How much should 90K service cost?
depends on what your doing. have you replaced the timing belt yet? thats the biggest part of the 90k service, even tho you should really be doing it sooner. and along with the timing belt they suggest you change the other accessory belts as well.
other than that, its just new oil and filter, pollen filter, spark plugs, and tranny fluid (only for auto's). then just an overall check of all the fluids.
if your not doing the timing belt it should cost you under a hundred for the parts and they're all reasy easy to do yourself. a shop will probly charge anywhere from 100-200 to do it depending on how gay they are. i could do that work in under an hour
and if you want the actual list from audi- http://www.bentleypublishers.com/tec...ance.sched.pdf

RE: How much should 90K service cost?
dealer tried to charge my somewhere between 800-1200$....lol
I bought the parts for less than 100$ and did it myself in an afternoon....
air filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, oil filter, oil, coolant flush, and you should think about a break fluid flush as well
check all fluids, possibly change your tranny fluid (i don't like the OEM fluid feel when the tranny is cold), check the rear diff. check all CV boots, tire pressure....check and possibly replace brake pads/rotors....
and that's about the jist of it....

I'd try to find a local, independent Euro shop to do the work. Ask around and I'm sure you'll be able to get info on one. They tend to charge lower labor rates, so you'll likely save money over having the work done at a dealership.
